Tarapith (Kolkata): Tarapith is in Kolkata (Calcutta) west Bengal, is situated on banks of Dwarka River in Birbhum District. This is also one of the most famous Tantra center. Its believed that here Maa Tara gave milk to lord shiva when he was thirsty and saved him from suffering.
